Welcome to ClickDose! Every week we analyze a top ad and page, then build a new brand with AI, ad and page, every week.
Last week we pulled every static a week-old sleep brand was running. This week we did something different: we onboarded a client that does not exist and ran our whole process on it, start to finish, in public.
In today's edition:
📚 Step 1, research. 12 Reddit threads, 189 comments about plain t-shirts. One complaint won.
🥃 Step 2, competitors. We pulled all 228 True Classic ads. The oldest static is 117 days old and points at a page that no longer exists.
🤖 Step 3, the build. KEPT, a tee brand built around that one complaint. Three statics and a live demo page, live.
🧰 Step 4, the stack. Every tool we used, listed, nothing else.

🥃 We Onboarded a Fake Client and Ran the Whole Process
12 threads. 228 ads. 1 complaint. 1 brand.

📚 Step 1: Research
Category: plain men's t-shirts. Everyone on this list has bought one and been let down by it.
Pulled: 12 Reddit threads, 189 comments, from r/BuyItForLife, r/malefashionadvice and r/AskMen. Scraped with ScrapeCreators, ranked inside Creative HQ, our internal app.
Rule: copy sentences, not summaries. Rank complaints by how often they repeat, not how loud one person is.
Complaint #1: it stops holding its shape. "I'm getting sick and tired of my T-shirts stretching out after just a few washes."
Complaint #2: too thin. "They end up being flimsy, too lightweight, or see through."
Complaint #3: fit only works one way. "If I buy one that fits in the chest/shoulders, it's so long that it entirely covers the zipper of my pants."
Where the buyer is: they know the problem, they are comparing brands, and nobody has won. Solution-aware, in the jargon. Ready for a brand with a proof.
🥃 Step 2: Competitors
Picked the biggest paid-social brand in the category: True Classic. 270,082 page likes, "45 million shirts sold" in their own ads.
Pulled the whole account from the Meta Ad Library with ScrapeCreators: 228 active ads. 93 video, 61 static, 52 dynamic, 14 carousel, 8 catalog.
Counted the landers: 118 of 228 ads point at one page, the Staple 6-Pack. The homepage gets 29. A weekly-deals page gets 20.
Counted the headlines: "Built To Look Better" runs on 49 ads. "Look Good. Feel Good" on 30. "Flash deals ending soon" on 15.
🖼 The One We Picked
The oldest static in the account. "1 SOLD EVERY 5 SECONDS." 117 days live, 19 copies running, then restarted twice more at 19 copies each. Six tees fanned out, "the perfect fit, every time" in the corner.
The sentence in the reader's head is "everyone else already bought this." The ad answers it with a rate. That is 17,280 shirts a day if you take it literally, and nobody checks.
The caption is one sentence: "Shop premium quality tees you can wear again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and".
🛬 Where It Lands
The ad links to trueclassictees.com/crews-meta. That page is gone. Click the link and end up on the homepage.
The homepage right now is a live shopping stream: a video, a chat panel, and a popup game for store credit. When the live stream ends the hero section replaces it.
The page the rest of the account points at is the Staple 6-Pack. Buy box read out loud: six tees $119.99 (was $209.94), $20 a tee, 70,537 reviews at 4.5 stars, sizes S to 4XL, a length picker (Short, Regular, Tall), 100-day guarantee. Further down: "3 problems we're solving: fit, comfort, value."
🛠 How to Steal It
Pull the whole account, not one ad. Count landers and headlines. 118 of 228 ads to one page tells you where the money.
Put a rate on the creative. "1 sold every 5 seconds" is a number the reader cannot argue with, so the ad needs nothing else on it.
Check where the oldest ad actually lands. They use a unique live demo. After a bit of research, the tool is Videowise.
You get one afternoon with a new brand. Which step do you run first?

🤖 Step 3: The Build
One complaint, one brand, three statics, one page. Fictional, and live.
🧠 The Brand
Name: KEPT. The complaint was "it stops holding its shape," so the brand is the promise. Same collar at wash 40.
Product: one black crew, 6.5 oz combed cotton. The middle weight nobody sells: heavy enough to hold a shape, lighter than the 9 oz tees Reddit calls "insanely stiff." Pre-shrunk twice, taped collar seam.
Fit: three lengths in every size, S to 3XL. That is complaint #3 solved on the size chart, and yes, True Classic already does this.
Offer: $34 one tee, $90 for three. The Wash-40 Guarantee: wash it forty times. If the collar waves, the hem twists, or it shrinks more than half an inch, refund and keep the tee.
The math on the page: a $12 tee replaced three times a year is $36 a year, forever. One KEPT tee is $34, once.
🖼 The Ads
Three statics, three styles.
🛬 The Page
We call it a live demo page: the hero is the wash test, on camera, laid out the way True Classic runs its live shopping stream (featured products on the left, the video in the middle, the chat on the right). It is live at clickdoselabs.com/example/kept.
Top to bottom: the live stream (wash 23 of 40, a chat that keeps asking if it is the same shirt, two products to add), then the three Reddit quotes with links to the real comments, then the test (a $12 tee and the KEPT tee side by side at wash 40, with a measurement table), then why it holds (collar, fabric, length), a fit picker that shows what each length does, the offer with the guarantee and the math, and a FAQ that says out loud what a real brand would have to publish.
🛠 Three Things On the Page
The complaint is the headline. The customer wrote "stretching out after just a few washes." The page opens with the answer to that sentence and quotes it two scrolls down, linked.
Show the test, not the claim. Two tees, forty washes, a tape measure. "Durable" is a word. 7.0 inches to 7.1 is a fact.
Make the fix visible. Three lengths is a dropdown on most sites. On this page it is a picker that changes the numbers as you click, so the fix to the zipper complaint is something you do, not something you read.

🧰 Step 4: The Stack
Every tool that touched this issue.
Reddit. Where the complaints are.
ScrapeCreators. The API that pulls Reddit threads and whole Meta Ad Library accounts.
Meta Ad Library. Start dates, copies running, landing links, captions.
Creative HQ. The app we built. Research, ad spy, brand file, copy bank.
Claude Code. Reads the research, writes the copy, builds the page, lays out the statics, runs the checks.
Skills inside Claude Code: Reddit VOC synthesis, hook and script writer, CRO page builder, the three copy strategies (plain English, humanizer, anti-slop), the Ad Dose style guide.
Higgsfield. Every product image. One canonical tee, then referenced into every other shot.
Wispr Flow. Voice to text. Saves a time of time when building with Claude.
🎁 New: Refer One, Get The Machine
We compressed the entire ClickDose engine into one prompt. Paste any winning ad into your AI and it runs the full pipeline on its own: teardown, kitchen-table nickname, a complete rebuild of the ad for YOUR brand, the creative brief, and a verdict on which landing page the ad has earned.
It's called The Machine Prompt, and it unlocks at exactly one referral. Send ClickDose to one person who buys ads, they subscribe, the machine lands in your inbox automatically. That's the whole transaction.
👋 That's A Wrap!
